為配合教育部推動「促進國際生來臺暨留臺-國際產業人才教育專班」 (新型專班)政策，菲律賓國際人才循環基地5月13日在菲律賓民答那峨州立大學伊利甘理工學院 (Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, MSU-IIT) 舉行「民答那峨據點辦公室」揭牌儀式。此次據點的設立，將成為菲律賓南部地區學生認識臺灣高等教育與產業發展機會的重要窗口，協助拓展臺菲雙方在國際產業人才培育上的合作。

本次揭牌儀式邀請臺菲雙方代表共同參與。臺灣方面由菲律賓國際人才循環基地團隊，包含總召學校國立中興大學，以及副召學校崑山科技大學、正修科技大學等代表出席；菲律賓方面則由民答那峨州立大學伊利甘理工學院、布拉坎州立大學 (BulSU) 等校方代表共同見證據點的啟用，展現了各校共同推動新型專班與國際人才循環的重視與承諾。

菲律賓國際人才循環基地指出，配合教育部新型專班政策，基地聚焦企業端需求與臺灣產業發展布局，協助菲律賓青年銜接臺灣教育資源與產業實習機會。招生領域以 STEM (科學、技術、工程、數學)、金融及半導體相關領域為優先，期望培育具備專業素養與實務經驗之國際人才。民答那峨據點辦公室未來將提供新型專班資訊諮詢、華語學習資源、來臺就學輔導等服務，協助當地學生更完整掌握赴臺學習管道及未來職涯發展方向。

民答那峨州立大學伊利甘理工學院為菲律賓南部重要高等教育機構，具備深厚的區域影響力。透過據點辦公室的設立，將有效強化臺灣與菲律賓及MSU-IIT周邊學校之連結。未來逐步導入華語學習資源、專業課程銜接輔導等工作，建立臺灣學校與菲律賓南部大學的長期合作關係。

菲律賓國際人才循環基地表示，菲律賓擁有豐沛青年人才與高等教育發展潛力，是臺灣推動新南向人才培育的重要合作夥伴。未來基地將持續透過各據點服務機制，整合臺灣合作學校與相關資源，協助更多菲律賓青年透過新型專班來臺就學並參與產學實習，進一步促進臺菲雙方在教育、產業與人才循環上的實質合作。
