As another school year winds down, preparations for the next one are already underway.

Every year, Little Red Schoolhouse provides thousands of backpacks and school supplies to students across Thurston County, helping children start school feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn.

And none of it would be possible without this incredible community. 💛

While students are still finishing the current school year, we’re already hard at work preparing for the next one.

Coordinating supplies, organizing volunteers, and preparing thousands of backpacks takes months of planning — but every bit of effort is worth it when students walk into school feeling ready and confident!

Today we celebrate moms, grandmothers, and caregivers who support their children every day. Your encouragement, guidance, and love help kids feel confident and ready to tackle new challenges — including school! 💛
