💙 “Embrace Growth, Harvest Possibilities” 🌾

🌲Evergreen Leadership Tour has come to an end🌲

Meeting members from all over the state brought immense joy to the Washington FFA State Officers. Evergreen trees, wheat fields, or winding roads; calm, excited, or passionate members; the constantly changing sceneries are worth the travel if it means that connections are being built.

However far apart chapters, members, or events are, we are all connected through agriculture. We hope you all truly enjoyed the workshops that the officers and team at WSU CAHNRS shared. If there is one thing you get out of it, hopefully it’s that we should EMBRACE every moment we experience.

Wishing the best of luck to National FFA AgriScience Fair Finalists as national interviews kick off today and continue throughout the week!

Reaching the national stage is an extraordinary achievement. The National AgriScience Fair recognizes members who dive deep into the scientific principles of agriculture—using hands-on Research SAE projects to conduct investigations, test new ideas, and solve real-world challenges alongside industry specialists.

Earning a spot as a national finalist highlights top-tier leadership, scientific inquiry, and dedication to the future of agriculture. Please join us in celebrating these brilliant student researchers and send them some good luck in the comments! 🔬👏💙💛

Happy Labor Day, Washington FFA! 🇺🇸🌾

Today, we recognize the hard work and dedication of the people who keep our communities and industries moving forward. From the field to the classroom, the shop to the office, we’re grateful for those who show up each day and make a difference.

🍎 Fun Fact: Washington agriculture supports more than 160,000 jobs across our state, meaning there are a whole lot of hands behind the food, fiber, and resources we rely on every day!

Today and every day, we’re proud to celebrate the people who put in the work to keep Washington growing. 💙💛

🍁Fall Workshop Planning is a Wrap🍁

The WA FFA state officers spent this past week bonding around the table as a team and working together to design workshops for FFA chapter visits and our upcoming Evergreen Leadership Tour. 💛💙

While attending this fall retreat they learned the subtle art of communicating with FFA advisors and arranging chapter visits, gained skills on how to manage a classroom full of middle and high school students, and collaborated on several exciting plans that will be released on social media this fall.

If your FFA chapter would like to request a visit with this year’s state officers during District Sweep Weeks, please check in with your FFA chapter advisor and check out the WA FFA website for all the details.

Your Washington FFA state officers are looking forward to this next phase of their journey this fall, and are TOTALLY AMPD to meet FFA members across the state of Washington. 🚘🏫🍁

Congratulations to the Washington FFA members who earned their American FFA Degree! Less than one percent of National FFA members go on to earn this degree, which is the organization's highest honor. Earning it requires a massive commitment to leadership, scholastic achievement, and outstanding Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs). Please join us in celebrating our extraordinary members who have achieved this gold standard of excellence!

🇺🇸Washington FFA takes on Washington DC!🇺🇸

Washington FFA state officers represented almost 15,000 FFA members with pride this week while attending State Officer Summit 🏔️ in Washington DC.

They helped kick off the state delegate experience that will take place at the 99th National FFA Convention this fall by engaging in delegate committee work along with fellow state officers across the country.💙💛

While in DC they visited our nations capitol, met with several legislators to advocate on behalf of National FFA, agricultural education, and our partners in agriculture and received an amazing behind the scenes tour of the Capitol building courtesy of Andrew Schulz, past WA FFA President.

WA FFA state officers were also surrounded by many moments in history while touring Arlington National Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum, and visiting several impactful monuments across Washington DC on our final night tour.

Thank you National FFA for providing a week full of INCREDIBLE memories and for the opportunity to create lasting friendships! 🤝👊🥳
