🇺🇸Washington FFA takes on Washington DC!🇺🇸

Washington FFA state officers represented almost 15,000 FFA members with pride this week while attending State Officer Summit 🏔️ in Washington DC.

They helped kick off the state delegate experience that will take place at the 99th National FFA Convention this fall by engaging in delegate committee work along with fellow state officers across the country.💙💛

While in DC they visited our nations capitol, met with several legislators to advocate on behalf of National FFA, agricultural education, and our partners in agriculture and received an amazing behind the scenes tour of the Capitol building courtesy of Andrew Schulz, past WA FFA President.

WA FFA state officers were also surrounded by many moments in history while touring Arlington National Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum, and visiting several impactful monuments across Washington DC on our final night tour.

Thank you National FFA for providing a week full of INCREDIBLE memories and for the opportunity to create lasting friendships! 🤝👊🥳

🥛 They really milked the competition! 🐄🏆

Congratulations to Elma 1 for taking home the title at the Washington FFA Dairy Cattle Evaluation & Management CDE today in Monroe! Your hard work, knowledge, and dedication proved to be the cream of the crop.

Best of luck as you represent Washington FFA at the National FFA Dairy Cattle Evaluation & Management CDE this fall—we'll all be rooting for you!

A special thank you to Gerrit VanWeerdhuizen for coordinating an outstanding event and to the Evergreen State Fairgrounds for hosting this year's competition.

Our Washington FFA State Officers are on FIRE! 🔥

They TOTALLY CRUSHED 💪Basecamp Training two weeks ago and have now checked off ✅ Checkpoint #1 this week in Spokane, WA.

Front loading their training experience this summer helps prepare them for their year as a state officer. During Basecamp they learn to master the art of teamwork, how to build connections, and create a positive and purposeful influence.

At Checkpoint #1 they build on their previous skill as facilitators to help develop workshops that engage FFA members during events hosted by WAFFA and at chapter visits this fall. 🍁

Naturally no training would be complete without a LOT of FUN and some spontaneous entertainment thrown in by our Washington FFA state officer team to keep up their energy.⚡️

KEEP ON ROCKING IT THIS SUMMER!!🎸👊

🥳Washington FFA is PROUD and EXCITED to announce that Ava Haase was selected to serve as our 2026 National Officer Candidate!🥳

Ava’s outgoing and bubbly personality and inclusive nature while serving as a 2025-2026 state officer left a lasting impression on Washington FFA members this past year. She took the opportunity to learn about different cultures as she traveled around our state, and was always willing to adapt to make learning fun for everyone. 🚘🎒

Congratulations Ava! Washington FFA looks forward to supporting her at the 2026 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this fall as she represents Washington as our national officer candidate!🎉🥳👏

WAFFA State Officers put the “T” in Teamwork!🥳

The Washington FFA state officer team kicked off the 2026-2027 year with State Staff Training in Yakima, WA last week. Thanks so much to AgWest Farm Credit for hosting us! 👏👏👏

While bonding together as a team, Lane, Trent, Teegan, Arielle, Tessa, and Yuridia also created their state POA, learned about their role on the board of directors, how to budget for their year ahead, created team expectations, and designed ice breakers for their fellow officers to compete in. 🎤🏅😂

This year is definitely off to a great start with a fun group of leaders that look forward to engaging FFA members around Washington! 🎉
