Our team is participating in a fundraiser to gather sneakers/tennis shoes (in good condition) to raise money for our program supports. We are also helping our environment by keeping sneakers out of landfills! 🌎👟♻️

September is Attendance Awareness Month. Consistent attendance is an important predictor of a student’s academic success. Did you know….. Missing 10% of school days or just 2 days each month, can put our students at risk of academic failure. Great attendance leads to great academic results! Attend today, and achieve tomorrow!🏫📚❤

East Olympia Elementary Senior Grad Walk
Tuesday, June 7th
2:30 p.m.

All East Olympia alumni graduating Seniors and families are invited to attend our annual Senior Grad Walk. If possible, please plan to meet at the High School and carpool. Parking attendants in vests will be on hand to guide you through the fire lane and onto the playground for parking. After Seniors gather on the playground, Mrs. Kilmer will lead you from the playground through the classroom building and out to the front entrance. Our students will be waiting to congratulate and cheer you on. Seniors will then have an opportunity to ring the bell and take pictures. We hope to see you on June 7th.

See Something, Say Something The students at East Olympia Elementary are working hard to create a safe school environment for everyone. Watch as they share their important message!

This week at East Olympia Elementary School students created a massive mosaic chalk art project around the flag circle in front of the school. The EOE Parent Teacher Organization and Principal Patricia Kilmer coordinated a read-a-thon fundraiser that resulted in a school wide reward project. Over a two week time frame 551 students, kindergarten through fifth grade collectively read 55,100 minutes (average of 100 minutes per student) and reached their donations goal. Most all the students were able to participate in creating this huge work of art. It was created over the span of two days, 3/24 and 3/25. The mosaic is 41 feet in diameter. It took 20 rolls of tape (1200 yards), 400 pieces of chalk, several hours of set and clean up by the parent volunteers. The students really had a lot of fun and it created so much excitement for the community.
