🌟 Join Our Outplacement School Team in Old Lyme! 🌟

We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Behavior Interventionist/Transition Staff member to support students in our specialized outplacement school setting.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about helping students with special needs develop independence, functional life skills, communication, vocational skills, and successful community participation.

Responsibilities may include:
• Providing 1:1 and small-group behavioral support
• Implementing individualized behavior and skill-building programs
• Supporting students with transitions, emotional regulation, and social skills
• Teaching functional living and vocational skills
• Assisting with community-based instruction and job-readiness activities
• Collecting accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data
• Collaborating with teachers, BCBA/LBA, related-service providers, and families
• Promoting independence and generalization of skills across settings

💙 What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
✔️ ABA/behavioral experience a plus
✔️ Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
✔️ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
✔️ Passion for supporting students as they prepare for greater independence
