To immigrants everywhere: I stand with you. Your life matters. Your presence here in the United States makes it BEAUTIFUL. Your cultures, languages, music, and traditions teach me SO many things and enrich our country. I know actions speak louder than words, so I am determined to do all I can to speak out, advocate, contact my senators about changes I believe should be made, and vote in order to support you. I will take time to research and learn more ways I can support you. I will listen to your stories. You should never have to feel pushed aside, unwanted, or fearful. Calling all families with kiddos! Read out loud to your kids and earn free books through our Families Read Aloud Club.

For every six chapter books you read aloud to your child, you’ll get to pick out a free book! Bring your completed chapter book to the Children’s Desk at Downtown or Indian Creek to log your book. Books read aloud must be at least 80 pages and must be checked out from the Olathe Public Library. Families can earn up to four free books per calendar year!
