State Solo & Ensemble 2026 was a huge success! The day included 5 fantastic string solos, a great performance of a Mozart Fugue by our chamber quintet, supporting our bassist in his timpani duet, and realizing that one of our soloists was given a perfect score 👀🤫🔥 so proud of these kids and their hard work leading them to state!!

We had an amazing time in Nashville the past few days! Highlights from our trip include:

*Recording Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” in the same recording studio that did 😱
*Epic rap battles at the Museum of African American Music 🎤
*Exploring downtown Nashville and seeing a different live band at every turn 🎸
*Hearing the perform 🎻
*Workshopping our own performance skills at 💪🏼
*Walking through the amazing 😍
*getting a private backstage tour of the and seeing incredible country, bluegrass, and Irish music and dance performed 🎶
*Seeing iconic artifacts at the Country Music Hall of Fame 👢
*Bringing Joy to the residents of a retirement center through our music 🫶🏼
*Learning country line dances and busting some moves 💃

Thank you so much to our incredible chaperones, school community, and our new favorite bus driver Randy for making this trip possible ❤️
