Maycee went and got a State Championship ring! How awesome!! 💕🥎💕🥎💕

Yesterday, Dale won the OSSAA Class 2A Fastpitch Softball State Championship. Over the course of the state tournament, the Lady Pirates defeated Crescent 11-2 in the quarterfinals, Vanoss 5-4 in the semifinals, and Warner 4-2 in the finals. They also won the slow pitch championship back in May. 🥎❤️💛🖤

There are so many ways to work on your push-off, and here’s just one! 💪

Adding a medicine ball to your push-off, then working from a down-on-one-knee position, is a great way to build push-off strength.

It’s not always easy, and it’s not always pretty—but it is effective!

100 strikeouts don’t happen by accident! 🥎 They take time, effort, and a whole lot of practice. This young lady has put in the work, and I couldn’t be more proud of her! Way to go! 🎉

Beginners, don’t be afraid to start using pitching tools! You don’t have to be great with them right away—that’s the whole point of practicing. A tool can give you a different feel for the ball and visual cues to help you figure out what to do when it’s time to throw the real thing. Keep experimenting, keep practicing, and see what clicks! 🥎

Do you know how to push up and out at the same time? It sounds simple, but feeling how to drive off the ground while staying connected to it can be tricky.

That’s why we keep talking about it, working on it, and figuring it out! Push off the rubber out toward your catcher and up toward the sky—all at the same time. 💪🥎

Pitching isn’t always pretty, especially when you’re first learning something new. Growth means being willing to embrace change, work on new things, and get uncomfortable sometimes.

If you’re not comfortable all the time, you’re probably growing—and that’s how you get better! So if you feel stuck in the same old spot, ask yourself: am I still doing the same old things? 💪🥎
