“Shout out to our amazing ARRIVE facilitators! Thank you for showing up, speaking truth, encouraging accountability, and helping create safer, healthier communities. We appreciate you! 💙🖤 ”
This week in class, we asked:
“What if you could watch your last major relationship argument like a silent movie — what would your body language say to the observer?”
This question was powerful.
Stop and really think about it for yourself. Sometimes what we do says more than what we say.

Behind every assessment, group, report, and conversation is a simple goal: helping create safer relationships and stronger communities.
Thank you for allowing ARRIVE DVI Education to be part of that work.

📝Oklahoma is implementing new pilot programs to address domestic violence (DV) in 2025-2026, including specialized intervention initiatives aimed at batterer rehabilitation, stricter sentencing for repeat offenders, and enhanced victim support services. These efforts aim to combat the state's high DV rates, which have recently included record-high fatalities.
Key 2025-2026 Domestic Violence Initiatives:Pilot Intervention Programs (BIPs): The Attorney General’s office is certifying new, specialized pilot intervention programs focused on requiring abusers to take responsibility, as established in 2025.Sentencing Reforms (SB 541): Passed in March 2025, this law increases prison time for repeat domestic violence offenders and those who abuse pregnant women.
Victim Support Services (PATHS): Oklahoma Child Support Services (via OKDHS) is expanding the PATHS program to help survivors securely pursue child support without fear of retaliation, addressing financial dependency on abusers.Victim Housing Assistance (HB 2242): Legislation was designed to allow victims to waive certain fees and deposits for new housing, helping them escape dangerous situations.Support and ResourcesOklahoma Safeline: 1-800-522-SAFE (7233). A 24-hour, confidential hotline with translation for 150 languages.
Virtual BIP Services: Under specific circumstances, such as living over 45 miles from a center or needing specialized accommodations, offenders may be approved for virtual Batterers Intervention Programs (BIPs).
Recent FindingsA 2025 analysis noted that 122 domestic violence-related homicides were identified in 2023, the highest since 2002.Studies have previously ranked Oklahoma highly for domestic violence incidents, with significant numbers of both women and men affected. These pilot programs and legislative changes are focused on reducing recidivism and enhancing the safety of victims through both criminal justice reform and tailored supportive services.
📣📣📣ARRIVE has been trained on the DVRNA and was one of two programs in the state of Oklahoma that was selected to implement this pilot program!
