Thank you to WildCareOklahoma for sponsoring the 2026 Oklahoma Environmental Education Expo!

WildCare Oklahoma provides people with wildlife and conservation education, humane wildlife conflict resolution, and a place to bring injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife for medical and rehabilitative care with the goal of releasing healed, healthy, and fully developed individuals back to their natural environments. Helping over 9,500 animals, representing 233 species, annually, WildCare Oklahoma is one of the largest wildlife rehabilitation centers in the country.

WildCare Oklahoma recognizes the centrality and impact of education and public information and supports environmental and conservation education efforts across the state, including participation in and sponsorship of the annual OKAEE Expo, which brings together Oklahoma educators, agencies, and community leaders. In 2025, WildCare Oklahoma provided nearly 100 in-person educational events reaching 8,141 people, advocating for coexisting humanely with wildlife, being a good neighbor to wildlife, and being a voice for the intrinsic value of wildlife and the places they live. Their help desk managed over 42,000 incoming calls helping people humanely resolve conflicts with wildlife and prevent thousands of animals from being unnecessarily brought to the center. WildCare Oklahoma also provides training for the next generation of wildlife biologists, rehabilitators, veterinary technicians, and veterinarians through its internship, fellowship, and veterinary externship programs.

WildCare Oklahoma is a nonprofit organization funded through individual donations and supported by a caring team of volunteers.

We want to thank Oklahoma Forestry Services for sponsoring the 2026 Environmental Education Expo

Through Project Learning Tree, they equip educators with hands-on, standards-aligned resources; through Forestry Youth Camp, they inspire the next generation of natural resource leaders; and through the Library Backpack Program, they help families and communities access environmental education across the state. Add in their outreach events happening in communities statewide, and it’s clear how deeply OFS is invested in education, access, and connection to our forests.

Check out upcoming Project Learning Tree workshops at https://ag.ok.gov/calendar/, and learn more about OFS outreach and education programs at https://ag.ok.gov/outreach-and-education/.

Thank you Oklahoma Forestry Services for being a partner in EE in Oklahoma!
