Meet our August Teacher of the Month, Sara Walker!
Sara is a first grade teacher at Knight Ridge Elementary who is heading into her fourth year of teaching. Her journey into the classroom may not have followed the path she originally planned, but she says she truly can’t imagine doing anything else.
One of Sara’s favorite parts of teaching is watching her students grow, celebrating every win, big or small, and seeing her classroom become its own little family.
The message she hopes her students carry with them long after first grade is that they are loved and exactly who they’re supposed to be.
