Since starting my new day gig I’ve struggled to get out into the shop. Last weekend I was refreshed learning a new skill at a Woodcraft OKC turning class! It was super fun and I can’t wait to get out to the lathe again. I highly recommend their classes to anyone looking to try something new with any level of woodworking experience!

The hubby needed a little plant life in his windowless office. He was thinking an office plant but when I reminded him those take effort to keep alive, he opted for a moss wall! Created this one in the shape of his company’s logo!

A couple commissions from Christmas! Two different methods of inlay here. The black walnut piece is hand carved and then filled with . The bread board is burned by hand! Part of my favorite part of commissions if figuring out which method works for each piece. No project is the same!
Both pieces are finished in cutting board oil and wax.

This beaut is a hunk of solid mahogany that had originally been destined for a handmade sailboat. It was salvaged and then repurposed into this serving board. Love working organic edges into finished pieces!
