• and finished with a high-quality raised bed mix

Why we built our garage apartment….

1. To serve as an income producing property… it’s my favorite property to manage bc it’s literally in my backyard!

2. Well our old one looked like it was going to fall down so we were going to build a new garage no matter what. So it was worth it to us to invest in the additional living space above it.

3. We host friends and family from out of town quite a lot. It’s something we live to do! And having a design space where they can stay and I don’t have to freak if they wake my kids up at night is such a blessing… I definitely don’t take it for granted!!

Sometimes it pays off to be 25 and naive 😅 we’re on year 6 in our home and while we definitely would’ve done a lot of things differently looking back…. We have our forever home and get to continue updating her for MANY years to come!
