What the death of ‘Santa Blair’ means to the people who love him As a Black man in Oklahoma, Kenny Blair wanted to be a Santa that represented his community. He ended up being recognized around the world.

Heartfelt thanks to the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation for honoring Santa Blair on the 2024 Wall of Fame.

We are so grateful for the love and recognition you’ve shown in acknowledging his incredible service—not only to the Oklahoma Public Schools system but to the entire community. His dedication to students and the impact of his presence, leadership, and compassion helped shape countless lives. Thank you for celebrating his legacy and commitment to making a difference.

And a special shout-out to Jabee Williams and the Douglass High School band for their unforgettable tribute. Your music and spirit truly honored his legacy.

⭐ Honoree Spotlight - Dr. Kenneth Blair, Sr. ⭐

Honoring the legacy of Dr. Kenneth Blair, Sr. (Classen High School), our posthumous honoree. Dr. Blair had a multifaceted career, starting as an NFL player for the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Cardinals, later transitioning to an impactful role in education with OKCPS.

Known for his role as Santa Blair, he spread joy and representation during the holidays. His work as a coach and mentor in Oklahoma City left a lasting impact on countless students and athletes. It is an honor to recognize Dr. Kenneth Blair, Sr. as one of our 2024 Wall of Fame honorees.

Kenny "Santa" Blair remembered during celebration of life service The man many knew as “Santa Blair”, passed away at the age of 65 in late March.

Well Santa Blair Friends and Family……

You asked and it shall be delivered.🫶🏽Tomorrow the Celebration of Life for Santa Blair will be live streamed for all those unable to travel to Oklahoma.
