Karen Scott produces a range of hand-thrown, high-fired terracotta production cookware, tableware and custom-designed handmade tiles from in her Stable Pottery in Ojai, California. Louis, Mo., she moved to England at the age of 18 to study at Corsham College of Art in Somerset. On returning to the States, she lived in Massachusetts before heading to the west coast. She spent many years teaching Mi

ddle and High Schools in Cape Cod, and Ojai. As well as making production pottery, she also currently teaches classes to children of all ages and adults. Examples of her work can be viewed here and she welcomes custom commissions. All pottery is ovenproof and dishwasher and microwave safe. She currently sells her tableware and comissioned pieces at varous restaurants and shops around Southern California.
