Nearly 26 years ago, Bruce Sugarburg and Gloria Ireland founded a visionary psycho-spiritual event organization that brought meaningful and transformative programming to the Akron area. For many years, these gatherings were graciously hosted at the beautiful Unity Church in Tallmadge - a sacred space we continue to hold in deep gratitude for its warmth and spiritual resonance. In January of 2020,

sensing his journey was nearing its end, Bruce called upon JJ Acolyte, entrusting her with the future of the organization he had lovingly nurtured. Although the pandemic caused a temporary pause in gatherings, the heart of the community remained strong. We are honored to announce the revitalization of this beloved group - now enhanced by an online presence, allowing members near and far to join in the experience. In a powerful step forward, OMS has joined forces with The Healing Brew to carry Bruce's dream into a new era. Together we continue to provide high quality spiritual and metaphysical events that inspire, enlighten and connect. From October to April, we host our gatherings on the first Friday of the month. Each event features a new speaker - regional metaphysical professionals, authors and spiritual teachers - who share their unique wisdom and insight. On special occasions, rather than a traditional lecture, we offer immersive evenings of mini-readings in Tarot, Astrology, Runes and other intuitive arts. We also host periodic psychic fairs at regional locations, offering additional opportunities for exploration and community engagement. Whether you are new to the metaphysical path or a seasoned seeker, OMS offers a welcoming space where you will find kinship, inspiration and a sense of belonging.a vibrant spiritual future.
