Robin Williams took his own life because he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Bruce Willis just learned that his illness is Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Lewy Body Dementia. One of the hardest things to process is the slow change in the one you love. Becoming a completely different person. Everything changes. Just so you know...😢 It’s called the long goodbye. Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it. As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are and become less themselves. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move and unable to eat or drink or talk to their loved ones. There will be people who will scroll by this message because Dementia or Alzheimer's has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Dementia or Alzheimer's.
In an effort to raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like to see at least 5 of my friends put this on their timeline….I’ll settle for at least one.💜💜DONE!!! COPY & PASTE.

So much has changed, yet so little has changed.

We walked down the hallowed halls,, we went to mass together, and we laughed and talked and had the greatest time over dinner and drinks. It was wonderful to see dear classmates and find out what's been happening in everyone's lives. If you missed it this year, you'll definitely want to be there next year!!

Hey, Mighty Bulldogs!

Here’s the plan for Saturday. Let me know if you’ll be joining us for the tour and/or mass, or if we’ll simply be seeing you at Pizzazz:

3:15 pm School Tour - come see how much has changed! Meet at Gesu Family Center Entrance at the back of the school off the parking lot

4:30 pm Mass - There will be several pews reserved for our class. Our presence will be announced at mass, and there will be an opportunity to have our photo taken on the altar following mass
5:45 pm Pizzazz on the Circle for dinner and drinks
- Appetizers will be served at 6 pm
- Dinner follows at 6:45 pm
- Cash bar – please tip our bartender generously!
- Pizzazz closes at 9:30 pm. If anyone is interested in continuing the festivities, we can head to my home in Cleveland Heights!

Really looking forward to seeing so many of you there. Time to make more memories!

PS - be sure to bring any photos of our years at Gesu that you might have to share!
