Happy National Coming Out Day! I came out to my parents October 23, 2009. I was so afraid of rejection, but their love and expectations never changed for me. My whole family was happy that I was FINALLY happy. I know this isn’t the case for all q***r folk. Just know that you are loved and accepted. God doesn’t make mistakes and who you choose to LOVE is not wrong. I pledge my allegiance to always have an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, and heart that will love! So come out, come out wherever you are. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈 🏳️‍🌈

Students United for Reproductive Freedom would like to introduce our 2020-2021 Vice President, Christian Miconi (he/him/them). Christian was born and raised in Syracuse, Utah. He loves cooky, spooky and weird things. He loves his plants and his dogs even more! He currently resides in Ogden, Utah and is working toward his Bachelors Degree at Weber State University (Great, great, GREAT)!
His major is Public Relations and Advertising with a copywriting emphasis. His favorite hobbies are playing retro video games and taking care of his orchids! Reproductive freedom is important to him because “It's critical to the health and wellbeing for all sexually active individuals. With our political climate, reproductive freedom is tied to many other things such as policies and legislature that targets contraceptive and abortion rights. I will actively advocate for these protections because The Hill shouldn't have a say in our reproductive freedoms and choices in the matter.”
