Come join us!
Weber State University's Empty Bowls is an annual charity event where local potters donate bowls to raise funds for the Weber State University Food Pantry. The public is welcome to join us on Monday Aug. 12th to make a bowl free of charge for the event that is on Oct. 4th and 5th. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Professionals will be there to help you creat a beautiful bowl.
Here's how it typically works:
1. The public can sign up for a spot or drop by on Aug. 12th from 10am-8pm at the Monarch in Ogden.
2. In October guests select a bowl and receive a meal of soup, bread, and other treats. Local potters also donate bowls.
3. The cost of the ticket includes a meal and bowl, which goes towards supporting Weber States food pantry.
The event aims to raise awareness about food insecurity and hunger in the community, while also providing a unique and meaningful experience for participants. If you're interested in learning more or getting involved, follow us for updates on this year's event!!
