Sometimes you’ve got to celebrate the wins in a big way! 😂

Today, Mrs Burlison got taped to the wall during lunch after our students worked so hard to increase their SOAR behavior over the last two months of school. And guess what? They did it!

Our Hawks have shown what it means to be Safe, take Ownership, be Accountable, and be Respectful, and we are so proud of the growth they’ve made. Such a fun way to celebrate all their hard work and teamwork! 💙💛🦅

Ms. Basler’s 2nd grade class did the cutest thing today… “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up.” 🥹
The whole class stood in a circle holding thumbs and sharing their dreams for the future. Safe to say there were a lot of tears and smiles in the room.

HCES is READY for tomorrow’s end-of-year assembly!

Ms. Neilson & Ms. Nelson have been hard at work getting all the prizes organized, and we cannot wait to celebrate our amazing Hawks for all of their hard work this year! From games and toys to fun surprises, tomorrow is going to be a blast!

1st grade had the best time on their end-of-year field trip to the aquarium… or as a few students called it, the “water zoo!” 🐠🦈 Such a fun way to celebrate the last week of school and make memories together!

Our 5th and 6th grade teachers do an incredible job helping students grow into confident, capable leaders as they prepare for middle school and beyond. They create classrooms filled with high expectations, encouragement, laughter, and opportunities for students to discover what they’re capable of.

This team shows up every day to support our students through challenges, build skills, and create a safe, positive environment where everyone can grow and succeed. From running interventions and social skills groups to building strong relationships and helping students navigate tough moments, they are the heart of support at Hillcrest.

We are so grateful for the care, patience, and dedication they bring to our Hawks every single day.
