They have left Gorek Shep and have a lot of downhill ahead of them! I’m hearing that the team should have cell service at the end of their day - can’t wait to hear stories and see their pictures! So excited for the EBC Adventure team! 🏔️🥾

Hi everyone - Blue Side Base Camp here sharing a satellite update 📡 🛰️

The team made it to Everest Base Camp! Everyone is excited to achieve such a huge goal!

Their altitude at EBC was about 5200 meters (over 17,000 feet)! We’ll know exactly when Sarah and the team are back on WiFi.

Until then, here’s a photo of Mt Everest for us to enjoy that Sarah sent me a few days ago. So proud of the Team for this huge accomplishment!

Hi everyone - it’s the Blue Side Base Camp here, sharing a happy update from the team as they are heading towards Everest Base Camp and on “satellite only” at the moment.

The team woke up to 5 inches of fresh snow on the ground - amazing! No photos yet, can’t wait to see that! Currently at an elevation of 16,610 feet and making steady progress.

Keep it up, Team EBC! So proud of you! Base Camp will share the next update when it comes in!

IT’S OFFICIAL: TEAM EVEREST IS ALL IN NEPAL! 🇳🇵✨

The final flights have landed, the bags are unpacked, and the energy in Kathmandu right now is off the charts. Watching this incredible group of women veterans and first responders arrive from all across the globe and gather in one place is pure magic.

For months, we’ve been training, planning, and counting down the days. Now, every single seat is filled, every hug has been given, and our expedition family is officially complete.

Before we depart for the trail on October 3rd, we’re spending these next few days soaking in the magic of Kathmandu—exploring ancient temples, connecting over sound healing, getting our custom trail journals ready, and building the bond that will carry us all the way to 17,598 feet.

Everest Base Camp, we are coming for you. 🏔️⚡️

Our hearts are heavy for the communities across Nepal impacted by the recent severe weather and landslides. Nepal holds such a special place in our hearts, and we are sending so much love and support to those affected and the rescue teams on the ground.

We’ve had so many of you reach out to check on us, so we wanted to share a quick update to reassure everyone: Our entire team is safe.

Our expedition to Everest Base Camp takes place in a completely different region of the country that is unaffected. Additionally, we aren’t departing for the mountains until October 3rd.

Right now, we are safe in Kathmandu, spending the next few days taking in the rich culture, enjoying local tours and wellness sessions, and celebrating as our incredible team of women continues to arrive from around the world.

Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out—your concern and support mean the world to us. We’ll keep you all updated as our journey officially moves toward the trail this weekend! 💙🇳🇵
