The countdown to Keith County Big Give is on!! We are very excited about our ambitious goal this year - transforming our library furniture and fixtures into vibrant hubs of learning! The Prairie View library is the sole academic space that touches the lives of every K-8 student. It's time to give this deserving space a facelift that will cater to each grade and reading level. We're eager to embark on this journey! Thank you for considering our organization as a recipient of your charitable giving this year!

Leadership looks different in every grade level, but one thing stays the same at OPSD… our students continue to rise up, lead by example, and make OG Nation proud.

Today, we were proud to recognize our 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade PTO Built to Lead Award recipients! These students were nominated by their teachers for consistently showing leadership, character, kindness, responsibility, and a commitment to making their school a better place.

After nominations were submitted, staff members across the building, including teachers, paraeducators, office staff, and more, helped vote to determine this year’s recipients.

This recognition is not about popularity. It is about the everyday choices these students make to lead with integrity, encourage others, and positively impact our school culture.

As we near the end of another successful academic year at Prairie View it's only fitting to acknowledge the generosity of our donors from last year’s Keith County Big Give, which facilitated the gifting of pedal desks to our school. These pedal desks have been a resounding success, fostering a more engaging educational setting. Their popularity necessitated the introduction of a sign-up system! We are deeply thankful for the contributions that have enhanced student learning and are very excited to share our vision for the upcoming year with you soon!
