As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, we want to remind our families that student attendance plays a critical role in academic success and personal growth.

Our goal is for every student to be present at school 97% or more of the school year. When students attend school consistently, they build strong academic foundations, develop meaningful friendships, gain confidence, and learn valuable social skills that will benefit them throughout high school, college, and beyond.

Parents and guardians, your encouragement makes a difference! By helping your child establish a routine and prioritizing attendance, you are setting them up for success both inside and outside the classroom.

At IDEA Lopez, we believe every student belongs. When students are present, they become active members of our school community, build trusting relationships with teachers and peers, and discover their potential as future leaders. We want every student to feel connected, valued, and confident knowing that they have a place here with us.
