Drawing in the Garden
A Monthly Art Class at Glorious Garden Design Center An intimate class bringing together appreciation for art and nature. Please join us for the next class!
Through study of the succulents, we explore botanical patterns of growth, and uniqueness in organic form. We cover loosening exercises, strategies for sketching, and finish with a fully developed drawing. We also discuss composition and use of the drawing medium. Located at Glorious Gardens Design Center, we draw directly from their beautiful succulent specimens. Great for all skill levels, this is time to focus on creativity and observation.

Time for another Drawing in the Garden Art class at Glorious Gardens Design Center!

We start the class with relaxation drawing exercises, to loosen up, and warm up. As we get going, we approach various strategies for sketching and interpreting the botanical form. The rest of the class is dedicated to a fully developed drawing. Explore your creative style with guidance and encouragement throughout.
