Miles for Melanoma Ocean City 5K

Miles for Melanoma Ocean City 5K Funds raised by Miles for Melanoma participants support critical research for treatments, and ultimately a cure for melanoma.

The annual Miles for Melanoma Ocean City 5K event was started in 2010 by the family of Andrea Sheridan, a Melanoma patient. Andrea passed away on May 28, 2009, just two and half months after being diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma. In 2013, 12 teams representing a Melanoma patient participated in the event (Option on registration site to start your own team)! By participating in a Miles for Melanoma event, you can help raise funds for treatments, education, and advocacy, and raise awareness of melanoma and the need for a cure. We encourage all participants to use this page to advertise any year-round fundraising events benefiting the Melanoma Research Foundation. We work hard to make this event enjoyable and successful and really love seeing all the new faces and teams that join us each year!
