Pickle Day is Friday, 5/22!!! Pickles are $1 each, you may send money with your student. No money will be accepted in the office.

Apologies, we didn’t get any pics of Fridays Staff Appreciation event. Our (one and only) Mr. Roberts put his grill master hat and apron on to cook our group a delicious hamburger and we had some extra goodies to go with it. But then, the finale was Grumpy’s ice cream!!!! Our staff loves a Grumpy’s ice cream!!! Thank you again to ALL of our teachers,staff and admin for all you do for our kiddos. You’re making the world a better place one kid at a time!!!!!!

Day 4: Build your own snack sack! PTO turned an empty classroom into a giant snack room. Staff was able to come in and put whatever (and how much) they wanted into a bag to “nosh” on later. After a week of testing, these treats were much needed!!! Thank you to all our Ward Highlands staff for all you do and how much you love our kiddos!!

Thank you Bart Blessing with State Farm for donating all sorts of coffee pods and accessories for our Coffee Bar!!! We were even able to catch some hump day shenanigans while the teachers enjoyed all the yummy treats the PTO provided. We love our staff!!

Happy Taco Tuesday…. PTO treated our wonderful staff to 🌮 TACOS! We love our school and thank you for all you do!!!! Conrad Tree Service brought a donut truck for an afternoon sweet treat! Thank you Conrad!

Day 1 of Staff Appreciation week was a “Dirty Soda Bar”
Our wonderful staff was able to create delicious combinations of soda and syrups! Thank you Ocala’s Best for your donation of soda, cups and straws!!! We love having your support!!!

Don’t forget to pre pay for Kona until midnight tonight! You can send money with your student but NO money will be accepted tomorrow morning in the office.

Thank you to all the PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, TEACHERS AND STAFF that made field day absolutely amazing and fun. We love our little HORNET 🐝 family!!!!! Congratulations to all the winners. 5th grade, we will catch you later!🤣
