I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and encouraged me as I’ve been preparing to open my micro-school.
It was my hope to open this coming school year, but after much reflection and prayer, I have decided to remain in my current position for one more year.
This extra time will allow me to better prepare financially and ensure I can offer the very best experience for the families I will serve.
I’m truly sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

**Meet the Teacher!**

Hi there! I’m Kaitlin and I’m the founder and teacher at Ocala Saints & Freedom Microschool. I’m so excited to introduce myself to all of you! 😊

With 6 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Education, I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, faith-based learning environment where children can grow academically and spiritually. As a mother of two young boys, I understand how important it is to find a school that feels like a second home, which is why I’m so excited to be offering a personalized, small-group learning experience through my micro-school.

Though I’m currently out of state finishing up my teaching job, I’ll be back soon to open the doors to our school. I’ll be working alongside my amazing mom, who will be my assistant, and my younger sister, who will be helping with the daily activities.

I can’t wait to meet your kiddos and help them flourish in a caring, faith-filled space!

📌Exciting Update for Interested Families!📌

I’m now scheduling virtual meetings with families who are interested in joining my micro-school! This is a great chance for us to connect, for you to ask any questions, and for me to meet your kiddo—even if just virtually for now.

If you’re still interested after our virtual chat, the next step will be a walkthrough of my home, where the micro-school will take place. While I won’t be there in person (I’m currently out of state finishing up my teaching job), my mom—who will be assisting me—and my younger sister will be there to show you around and answer any questions you have.

A common question we get is “Can students go to public high school after attending your microschool?”*
**Yes, absolutely!** ✅✨

We track each student’s progress every step of the way 📊, and parents have full access to their reports 📁. These can be shared with any school they choose — whether that’s public, private, or otherwise — once their child reaches high school 🎓.

Since we currently go through 8th grade 📚, many of our students transition into public high school 🏫. And the results? They’re usually *right on track or even ahead of their peers* 🚀 — thanks to the time ⏰, attention ❤️, and customized learning paths 🧠 they receive from our amazing guides 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫.

🌟 We have lots of curriculum available! 📚✨ A common question we get is: *"How do we know where to start?"* 🤔 When a student comes in, they’ll take a diagnostic test 📝 that helps you and the parents understand where the child is at. Together, you'll set personalized goals 🎯.

Based on the results, we’ll recommend the perfect curriculum tailored to each child's level and learning style. 🎒💡 We have a whole bouquet 🌸 of curriculum options like Zearn, Khan Academy, Treasure Hunt Reading, STEAM, Britannica Kids, Mathseeds, Writers Guild, Kids Discover, just to name a few popular ones! 🌟 These help every child reach their goals! 🚀

📣 Last call for applications! 📣 We are a Catholic, home-based microschool with a state-credentialed teacher, and we’re excited to create an incredible learning environment for our students. 📚 This is our first year opening, and I have six years of experience in education. 🎓 So far, we have kids in grades 3-6, but I’ll need to reach a minimum number of students to move forward and ensure we have the resources needed to provide the best experience. 🌟 The benefits of a microschool include personalized attention, a close-knit community, and a faith-based curriculum. 🙏 We also offer the opportunity to attend for free with the Step Up scholarship! 💸 The application deadline for this step up is April 30th, so if you're interested or know someone who might be, please share this with friends or family who may be interested. 🤝 Let’s make this vision a reality together!

🌟 Celebrating the Saints & Praying for Souls 🌟

Our catechism kids had a wonderful time creating a beautiful collage in honor of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day—a reminder of our call to holiness and the power of prayer for those who have gone before us. 🙏✨
