🚗✨ Hammett Bowen Carline Information: Let's Make Every Day a Great Start & Finish! ✨🚗
Dear Hammett Bowen Families,

We are excited to welcome our students each day and want to ensure that both morning arrival and afternoon dismissal are safe, efficient, and stress-free for everyone. Please review the important carline procedures below and help us keep traffic moving smoothly!

🌞 Morning Carline
⏰ Morning carline begins unloading at 7:00 AM.

To help students get safely to class and start their day on time:

✅ Students should be ready to exit the vehicle when you pull into the unloading zone.

✅ Students should exit from the side of the vehicle closest to the sidewalk. For safety reasons, please do not allow students to unload between cars.

✅ Please remain in your vehicle during carline. An adult staff member or our Safety Patrol students are happy to assist if your child needs help exiting the vehicle.

✅ Parents are not permitted to park and walk students to class.

⏰ Morning carline closes promptly at 7:35 AM.

Students arriving after 7:35 AM will be considered tardy and must:

Be es**rted into the building by an adult
Be signed in at the front office
Together, we can help every student begin their day safely and on time!

🌤️ Afternoon Carline
🎫 A BLUE Hammett Bowen Car Sign is REQUIRED for carline pickup.

If you do not have your car sign:

You will need to park your vehicle.
Present a valid photo ID at the front office.
Staff will verify that you are on the student's approved pickup list before releasing your child.
🚶 If your student does not report to their assigned post in a timely manner, you may be asked to park, and a staff member will es**rt your student to your vehicle.

✅ Please remain in your vehicle during dismissal. Our staff members and Safety Patrol students are available to assist students as needed and will help ensure they safely enter their vehicles.

📵 For the safety of our students, families, and staff, please refrain from using your cell phone while in the carline. Your attention helps us keep everyone safe and traffic moving efficiently.

📣 Families, We Need You! 📣

Please join us for our first School Advisory Council (SAC) and Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meetings on Tuesday, August 18, 2026!

What's the difference?

🔹 SAC (School Advisory Council) focuses on school improvement. Members review school data, discuss goals, and provide input on decisions that impact student achievement and the overall success of our school. – Meeting begins promptly at 4:45 PM.

🔹 PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) focuses on supporting our school community through family engagement, volunteer opportunities, fundraising, and special events that enrich the educational experience for our students. – Meetings begins promptly at 5:30 PM.
