🥵 It's a very hot and humid Work-in-Progress Wednesday around here... How is it where you are? Hopefully 🏖️!

And talking about works in progress, I am currently working on two ! I am almost done with the Unstoppable top, which honors Ukrainian women, designed by and pattern edited and first-tested by . Back is complete and I am rows away from starting the neck in the front. I am now at the bright pink stripe, which reminded me of the Random Weekend challenge by .junction: PINK!! 💗💗💗 I love how the top is turning with this yarn: 's Mandala Bonus Bundle in Wood Nymph color. I am also using stitch markers and holders from my very own place

For the second , please check my stories! I am just starting on the latest pattern by Whitney's .pine.tree.crochet: a gorgeous shopping bag that is looking amazing with the combination of Royal (blue) and Ocean Stripes cotton by Peaches & Creme. My fellow (and very gifted) testers are: , , and . Check theirs and Whitney's grids to see their beautiful color combinations!

I cannot believe that this photo is two years old! From the time we were in the middle of the pandemic!! 😤

If you thought these beautiful nails are mine, sorry, you'd be wrong... My nails suffer way too much to look this good! 😅 She is Tracey, from , who purchased some of my fruit pins back in 2020. So glad these pins found a new great home! Thanks for sharing, Tracey!

I thought it was only fitting to repost an old post by , in which she was using the fishy stitch markers I showed you in my previous post. She was the first person (after me, of course 😅) to have the whole set and they looked so good on her Throw Blanket! (I ended up testing this pattern for her and I can tell you it is a gorgeous, easy, super lovely pattern! 💯💗)

---- Here's the text of her original post: (notice pattern test is completed now and pattern is available: go to her Instagram bio for how to get it!)

I’m so excited to finally be able to write this throw blanket pattern up. I’ve had it sitting and waiting ever so patiently (almost 2 years!! 😯) for me to get to it and finally some of my awesome testers gave me that extra little push to get ‘er done!!

I’m even more excited that I just have 1 more round and the border to go and it’ll be ready to send off to testers.

Do you think you might be interested in testing this throw blanket pattern? If so just let me know below or DM me.

You’ll have 4 weeks to complete the test and you’ll need 5 weight velvet yarn with an 8mm (L) hook.

You know I sometimes revive challenge prompts that I couldn't tackle properly at the time when the challenge was originally running. Sometimes the ideas come later than the challenge, like this one. Last week's MMU WEEKLY CHALLENGE was SUMMER VIBES, which matches perfectly this updated set of ceramic fish stitch markers. The fishies on the far left and far right are new additions to the fish stitch marker set I originally offered at the store. Welcome to our place, you cute, little Cutiefuls!

Is it Wednesday? Work-in-Progress Wednesday? I guess it is! So this is what I'm working on: a bunch of orders and something new. Can you pick out the new pins among all the cutiefuls? 😀

UPDATE!! My store has offered evil eye sewing pins (2-inch long) for quite some time already but I decided to update them with larger beads in brighter colors! Quite the rainbow of evil eye amulets!

By the way, did you know that evil eyes have been used for millennia? At least since the time of the ancient Greeks, about 3,000 years ago! They always make me think of the eye in the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt, known as the Eye of Horus, which represents well-being, healing, and protection. Now you can stitch and protect yourself at the same time! (Warning: these evil eye amulets do not protect against chance self-poking! 😅 )

You guys know I have absolute devotion for bees. This comes from when I was a kid and fell in love with Maya, a cute baby bee who seemed to be as crazy and fearless as I was at the time (Maya and I had the same age).

Now I have my own hives--well, they are never 'your' hives but you just host them for as long as they decide to stay with you because they can fly away from you whenever they feel like...

For all those reasons I felt I had to have some pins featuring bees. Not just any pins, but very cute and special pins. And so today, to celebrate World Bee Day, I am unveiling my long (3in) bee pins, which come topped with handmade lampwork glass bees.

For interesting facts about bees, and to enjoy the gorgeous quilled bees that Karen makes, please go check her . (Thank you Karen for the reminder--through your grid--that today was World's Bee Day! 💗)

Remember I was telling you about the sun finally shining full-power around here, in Northern Ohio? So what do you do when that happens? Well, of course, you go picnic in the backyard and test-crochet the latest pattern by 's Peg Nolan: the Twisted Granite Cup Cozy!!

I'm loving how the colors are coming up! It's an easy and quick pattern! And after seeing some of the makes by my fellow testers (go to to see them), I confess I'm thinking of using this pattern for something in red, white and blue... 🤔🤔

🥤🥤 Remember!!

For this (a bit too early for the 😅), my helpers were a brightly yellow dandelion (inspiration), my basic hook nr5, and my glass mushroom stitch marker, who always finds a way to go to the garden...

Every year the same... All these months waiting for the nice weather, for the flowers and the sun (not waiting for the mosquitos but they come too), and when it finally arrives, it just feels like it's not going to last... not enough, that is... Because, can you believe the 4th of July is just 7 weeks away?!! 🤯😅
