The Wildflower Patch Daycare and Preschool

These little changes in the way we interact with children have a HUGE effect on how they perceive themselves and seek connection from others. And if we’re women, this reframe can have a surprising effect on how we perceive OURSELVES (and other women). And if we’re ANYBODY, this reframe can really open our eyes to how entrenched historical constructs have been shaping the way we interact with ourselves and others…in surprising ways. This isn’t to say that we DON’T objectify little boys or interact with them in limiting ways. Just wanting to surface one of the most common ways we OFTEN sideline little girls without even noticing ourselves doing it. #toddlerdevelopment #selfconcept #psychologicaldevelopment

We have one part of our DIY mud kitchen done! The wild ones are loving making some potions and meals! We've also dyed some eggs this week and tomorrow we will have our egg hunt and Spring Basket unpacking with all our new items for our play space! Thank you so much to everyone who purchased items off our Amazon wishlist. The new items will get lots of use with our group of kiddos! 🥰🥰

If anyone is in a giving mood I'm going to link my spring wishlist for our daycare. We start spring break next week and I'm going to be building a mud kitchen/potion mixing area for the wild ones!

We spend a lot of our time outside and I have big dreams for our space - Mr. Rob has revamped our garden beds and is working on finishing that side yard area. We need to rebuild some retaining wall beds along the fence and hopefully put in a few fruit trees there and then sod on the dirt areas. And finish reworking the herb bed and salad bed too.

I'm so behind on posting here. I'm not even going to try to back post to catch up. We've had an amazing full year here at the Wildflower Patch! We had some friends move on and new friends added.

Right now we have one full time M-F preschooler spot open and one Full time M,W,Th preschooler or infant spot open.

Fell off the posting wagon for a bit. I have over 400 images to w**d through and share in some posts, but here's one of our daycare besties enjoying the first good rainy season puddles. 🩵💙💧🌧️🌦️🌤️☀️
