A beautiful and historic moment for Oakland’s Maya Mam community ✨

Union Maya hosted its first-ever honor roll ceremony celebrating Maya Mam middle and high school students who earned a 3.7 GPA or higher 📚🏆 Students were recognized with certificates surrounded by family, culture, and community pride.

One of the MCs for the event was Karla Mendoza from Tnel Movement Estudiantil. Karla also celebrated her own huge milestone by graduating this weekend 🎓👏

As Tnel Movement Estudiantil, our goal is to connect and offer our services in support of others and community growth.

Un momento histórico y hermoso para la comunidad Maya Mam de Oakland ✨

Union Maya llevó a cabo su primera ceremonia de honor roll celebrando a estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria Maya Mam que obtuvieron un GPA de 3.7 o más 📚🏆 Los estudiantes fueron reconocidos con certificados, rodeados de sus familias, cultura y orgullo comunitario.

Una de las maestras de ceremonia fue Karla Mendoza de Tnel Movement Estudiantil. Karla también celebró su propio gran logro al graduarse este fin de semana 🎓👏

Como Tnel Movement Estudiantil, nuestro objetivo es conectar y ofrecer nuestros servicios en apoyo a otras personas y al crecimiento de la comunidad.
