It's always a great experience bringing hands-on POCUS training directly to clinicians at their own conference.
Last weekend, GUSI led a 4-hour POCUS Essentials workshop at the CAFP POP 2026 Family Medicine POP! / Annual Meeting, held at Paradise Point Resort in San Diego, California.
Fifty family medicine clinicians joined us for hands-on scanning practice, working through real clinical scenarios and building point-of-care ultrasound skills they can bring straight back to their practices.
A special thank you to our instructor team, who guided everyone through such a valuable learning experience: Mena Ramos, Brendan Kidder, Deepika Ram, Eva Tovar Hirashima, Jennifer Seymour, Jessie Lucey, Michael Avila, Orly Bell, and Richard Hernandez.
We're also grateful to the California Academy of Family Physicians for hosting us and giving us the opportunity to connect with so many dedicated clinicians.
It's always rewarding to see clinicians leave a workshop with new skills, more confidence, and practical experience they can bring back to the patients and communities they serve. We look forward to continuing our mission of empowering clinicians through high-quality, hands-on POCUS education.
