Thank you to everyone who joined us for POCUS for Family Medicine on September 24 at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, the hands-on preconference to the FMEC 2026 Annual Meeting.

It was a full day of hands-on scanning, covering gallbladder, AAA, cardiac echo, lung, DVT, and MSK ultrasound, alongside family medicine educators bringing POCUS into their clinics and residency programs. ๐Ÿฉบ

Two days, real skills, real impact.

Last week, GUSI supported a two-day Musculoskeletal-focused course for clinicians at Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics, part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, in White City, Oregon.

The session combined a full day of core MSK ultrasound scanning with select primary care applications โ€” AAA, DVT, and foundational ultrasound fundamentals โ€” tailored to the team's clinical needs.

A special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Carness for instructing and sharing his expertise throughout the course.

We're also grateful to the team at Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics for hosting and helping bring this training to the clinicians who serve our veterans.

Seeing clinicians walk away with new skills and more confidence โ€” ready to bring it back to their patients โ€” never gets old. We look forward to continuing our mission of empowering clinicians through high-quality, hands-on POCUS education.
