Intermediate Country-Western Two-Step: with Citabria ✨🤠

Come early to mingle and stretch!
The class is 50-minutes long. Doors open at 6:30 for warm up.
No partner required - we will switch partners throughout the class.
This series is great for those who have been dancing two-step for a while and are getting comfortable with the basics. We will be exploring some extended patterns that may include some of the basics—underarm turns, cuddle, & sweetheart—so we hope you’re familiar.
Enjoy this week off! We will see you next week at 200 Grand Ave in Oakland in the first floor “lounge”.
You can pre-register for the series in the link in our description,($45) and breeze through check-in. You may also walk in and pay at the door: $18 per class!

Huge round of applause to our dancers and performers at The April Affair! What a stunning show and mock competition. It was truly a joy to witness these incredible athletes performing at their best ✨
A great send off to those traveling this summer to Spain for The Gay Games!! We wish you all the best on your performance journey.
No social dance classes this week or next at Oakland Q***r Dance but we will be back in May with more! Rest up and practice in the meantime ✨ we will see you on the dance floor soon!

We can't thank you all enough for coming to The April Affair--whether you were performing or cheering, judging, or volunteering--even if you were only there in spirit!
We enjoyed basking in raucous and supportive community as we watched a variety of dancers give it their all. We loved dancing with one another during the breaks and perusing the fun displays in the hallway. Many of us reconnected with friends we hadn't seen in a long time.

We are two days away from The April Affair!
Introducing our lovely Argentine Tango and Showdance dancers! It is a pleasure to watch these folks on the dance floor and we are so excited to see them showcase their moves this Saturday!
Get your spectator ticket online now! $25 online, $30 at the door. It’ll be an action packed afternoon including these dancers and more with a bit of social dancing and mingling between sets ✨
