What is your phone doing to you? Text neck is the term used to describe neck pain and damage caused by looking down at your mobile, tablet or other devices. It is a serious source of pain from poor posture, adults and kids are at risk from spending too much time on devices.
How to prevent Text neck:
1. hold your device at eye level as much as possible
2. Take frequent breaks from your devices
3. Set a timer to remind you to walk around every 20 to 30 minutes
4. Avoid looking down for an extended period of time.
5. Make sure you sit squarely at your work screen

Signs that you have text neck:
* soreness in the neck
* numbness and tingling felt in the upper extremities
* Pain in the neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, wrists and elbows
* chronic headaches to tightness or stiffness across the shoulders
