The Renaissance International School is an independent, Montessori school in Oakland for boys and girls ages 2 years through Jr High with music, fine arts, and language immersion (French and Spanish). The school was founded in 1992 by Leslie Hites, who continues to serve as Head of School. We welcome all families and work closely with parents to foster our view of school as an extension of home.

What a lovely end of year party for our PrePrimary and Primary children. Our TPA (The Parent Association), sponsored a Pizza and Popsicle lunch and a visit from My Reptile Guys! The children LOVED meeting the cute, creepy, crawly critters!

We opened our Annual Children's Art Show with a wonderful reception for our families and you are warmly invited to visit our TRIS Children's Art Show happening through Sunday, June 7 at our temporary gallery at South Shore Center in Alameda.
