A teaching faculty member at Waukesha County Technical College and adjunct instructor at Carroll University, Dr. McElrath earned her PhD from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she studied how cancer cells migrate from primary tumors.

Dedicated to making science more engaging, relatable, and digestible for all learners, she inspires students to find confidence, curiosity, and joy in STEM.

GEMS gained hands-on experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, building real STEM skills while discovering how technology can shape their future and everyday lives.
