Every alert represents a child.

Behind each alert may be a student who is scared, a family that needs support, and a school working to make the right decision.

Technology can identify potential risk. What happens next is what matters.

Our licensed mental health professionals review alerts after hours and assess risk. When appropriate, we speak directly with students, support families, and coordinate with school staff and emergency services.

Because some situations simply can’t wait until morning.

When school’s off, we’re on.

Notifications regarding student well being are important, but what happens next is what makes the difference.

Schools already have tools that can identify when a student may be in distress. The challenge is that those alerts can come at any time, including overnight and when school isn’t in session.

At Student Safety Alert, licensed mental health professionals review, assess, and respond to concerning alerts when schools may not have staff available. When necessary, we coordinate with district staff, families, and emergency services to help ensure timely intervention.

Technology can help identify concerns, but people are the ones who help students get support when they need it most.

Student Safety Alert is available to New York school districts through Nassau BOCES.

🌈 Student Safety Alert was proud to sponsor the Pride for Youth Gala this week.

Our work is centered on helping schools respond when students may be experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or other serious safety concerns. That work reinforces something we believe deeply: students need to feel safe, supported, and connected to caring adults.

Pride For Youth helps create spaces where young people know they are accepted, valued, and not alone. That kind of belonging matters, and it can have a real impact on mental health and well-being.

We were honored to support this event and to stand alongside the educators, mental health professionals, families, advocates, and community members working to help young people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Thank you to Pride For Youth for the important work you do for youth and families across Long Island.

🌈 Happy Pride Month!

The warning signs are often there.

The challenge is making sure they are seen, reviewed, and responded to when it matters most.

Student Safety Alert partners with school districts to monitor student safety alerts after hours, on weekends, and over school breaks. Our licensed mental health professionals review urgent concerns, contact families directly when needed, and coordinate with district staff or emergency services when a student may be in crisis.

We help schools turn the safety tools they already have into real support for students and families.

Student alerts don’t always happen during the school day.

When an alert comes in after hours, districts need more than a notification. They need a clear plan for who is seeing it, assessing it, and helping coordinate the response.

Student Safety Alert helps districts make sure urgent student alerts are seen, assessed, and responded to by licensed mental health professionals.

Because when a student may be in crisis, every minute counts.

We had a great time at the assetny Conference.

Stacy Pellettieri, LCSW-R and Alicia Isaacson spent the day speaking with district leaders about a growing challenge for schools, responding when student safety concerns come in after hours.

Districts are looking for ways to support families, respond appropriately, and make sure nothing is missed.

It was great to share more about how Student Safety Alert helps districts strengthen that response beyond the school day.
