I truly couldn’t be more proud of this group of ladies!
As a coach, there is nothing better than watching your riders step outside of their comfort zone, face their fears, and trust the work they’ve put in. Today wasn’t about being perfect or bringing home the most ribbons — it was about having the courage to walk into the arena, try something new, and keep going when the nerves kicked in.
For every one of them, this was their first show, and they handled it with so much heart. They supported one another, learned from every class, and most importantly, they had fun with their horses.
Showing is about so much more than what happens in the arena. It’s about building confidence, learning how to handle pressure, making mistakes and learning from them, and creating a partnership with your horse that continues to grow.
I’m proud of the riders they were today, but even more excited about the riders they are becoming. Keep putting in the work, keep challenging yourselves, and remember — confidence comes from doing the things that scare you.
This is just the beginning!
