📅 Monday, June 29 & Tuesday, June 30
⏰ Session Times:
• 9:00–10:30 AM
• 11:00 AM–12:30 PM

Each child will receive:
✔️ A 1:1 speech screening
✔️ Half-price open play after their screening
✔️ Parents will receive a slideshow + information packet on child speech milestones
✔️ Time to meet with Sara from SLP Center to review results and ask questions

💲Cost: $12.25 per child
⚠️ Limited to just 8 children per session

When I was opening Happy Hearts, I had a really hard time finding people who were willing to talk openly about what it’s actually like to run a play space.

So I made a promise to myself—if anyone ever reached out asking about it, I would be honest.

There are so many beautiful parts of this work… but there are also things people don’t always say out loud.

If you’re thinking about opening a space like this, here are a few things I wish someone had told me sooner.

It is fun.
It is expensive.
It is a 24/7 kind of job.
It is seasonal in ways most people don’t expect.
And it is scary… and incredibly rewarding all at once.

This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done—and I wouldn’t fully trade it either.
