What a fantastic day at our Elementary Track & Field Day! ☀️

Our kindergarteners had a blast participating in 12 different rotations filled with fun, teamwork, and lots of smiles. The surprise bounce house obstacle course and slide was a huge hit, and the day ended with one of the students' favorite traditions—cooling off as the fire truck sprayed water! 🚒💦

A special thank you to Mrs. Kelly's PE Classes for organizing such a fun, exciting, and memorable day for all of our students. We appreciate all of the time, planning, and energy that goes into making this event so special each year! 💙🤍

Kindergarten has spoken! 📣 Mrs. Conery’s perfect summer should include ice cream, sunshine, zoo trips, relaxing, spending time with her kids, and apparently having water dumped on her head. ☀️💦😅

🎸👟 Kindergarten classroom visits are underway!

This week, we welcomed our future kindergarten students into their classrooms for the 2026-2027 school year. On Monday, we met with our PreK, Head Start, and students coming from home or other programs. On Tuesday, our Early Kindergarten students joined us.

During both visits, we read Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes and talked about all the fun things kindergarteners do at school. Students also completed a Pete the Cat activity— Monday's group made a craft and Tuesday's group did a writing and drawing activity.

These visits help students get excited about kindergarten, meet their teacher, and become comfortable in their new classroom before the school year begins. We loved meeting our future kindergarteners and can't wait to see them this fall! 💙🤍
