Today we celebrate Mrs. Rhonda, lovingly known as Meme! With 25 years in education and three years serving at PCS, she brings experience, joy, and a heart for helping each student grow. Her multi-age classroom is filled with learning, laughter, and faith, from center time to Bible and math lessons. We are grateful for the love she pours into her students each day. Meet another member of our PCS teaching team - Miss Aimee!

With roughly 13 years of experience working in schools, along with time spent homeschooling her own children and serving in school and childcare leadership, Miss Aimee brings a wide range of experience to the classroom. Through each of those roles, one thing has remained consistent: a passion for coming alongside others and helping them succeed.

This year, Aimee is especially looking forward to welcoming new students and discovering the personalities, interests, strengths, and unique gifts God has given each one.

Faith is woven into every part of the classroom. Each morning begins with devotional time and prayer, but the goal goes beyond that—to help students understand that following Christ shapes how we learn, treat others, face challenges, and seek truth.

And when it comes to academics, math is Miss Aimee's favorite! There’s nothing quite like seeing that “light bulb” moment when something that once seemed difficult finally clicks.

Aimee's hope for students this year? To seek Him first, grow in confidence and perseverance, work hard—and, of course, learn some math along the way!

Only 5 days until the first day of school!

We are almost there, PCS families! As we prepare to begin a new school year on August 24th, we are praying for our students, staff, and families as everyone gets ready for the days ahead. From managing IT school-wide and the PCS website to supporting onsite security measures, he helps keep our community connected and protected. Meet Mrs. Rhonda—also known to many of our students as Meme!

Mrs. Rhonda will be leading our lower elementary classroom for students in grades K–4. This is her second year serving full-time at PCS and her third year with our school overall. With 25 years of experience in education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and care to the classroom.

One of the things that makes her classroom special is its multi-age setting, where students can learn alongside and encourage one another. Students especially enjoy center time, while Mrs. Rhonda’s favorite subjects to teach are Bible and math.

This year, she is looking forward to welcoming new students, reconnecting with returning students, and seeing how much each child grows academically and spiritually. She is also excited for all the fun and laughter a new school year will bring.

“For such a time as this, God is placing us all together. I can’t wait to see what He does this year, both academically and spiritually, in the students’ lives. I’m excited and asking God for a fantastic year.”

As you make plans for back-to-school shopping, be sure to check your student’s classroom supply list before heading out. Teacher supply lists and classroom wish lists are available on our website to help PCS families prepare for the new school year.
