I had the most amazing birthday. Love come came from as far away as Japan. Thank you everyone for your lovely messages. Dinner with dear friends made the night. and if you go to my dentist on your birthday, you get a T-shirt! And if you go to the florist on your birthday, you get a flower! And I know some of you have given blood and I have heard about some of the donations to redcross.org. Thank you thank you.

Gotta love this time of year! All the magnificent colors, although I have to say, the trees are not as vibrant as they usually are. All that heat this summer. And if you happen to see this message, tomorrow is my birthday - yup! And while I appreciate any birthday wishes you can send my way, please send them instead to the American Red Cross (redcross.org) or any other agency helping with disaster relief. Even better, give blood if you are able. It only takes an hour if it is your first time, 20 minutes if it's not. Take care of yourselves. Thinking of all our friends, family and everyone else affected by Helene and Milton.

Like Denny Schackter said, we got married on 2/29/92 so yesterday was finally out anniversary- 8 years or 32! He is the peanut butter to my jam. :-)
