Our sincerest condolences to Barbara Edson Greenwald's family.

Barbara Anne Edson Greenwald, 62, of Gill passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020. She was born in Brattleboro, Vermont on March 21st, 1958

If you are looking for other fun things to do consider the following: Quinnetukut II cruise on the Connecticut River in Northfield or rent kayaks or canoe at Barton Cove in Gill. Go carting at Pioneer Valley Indoor go carting in Hatfield or zip lining at Berkshire East or Zoar Outdoors in Charlemont. There are also lots of places to hike and take in the fall colors. Perhaps you might like wine or beer tastings. There are several wineries and breweries now in Franklin County.

Also, if you like to golf, Northfield Golf Course is now owned by our very own Ed and Kerrilyn Snow. There is also Oak Ridge in Gill and Crumpin Fox Golf Club in Bernardston.

So Everyone should have received the reunion invitation by now. If you haven't here are the details and please send a message with your mailing address and email so we can send one. However here are the details:

When:
Saturday October 8, 2016, 4pm to 9pm

Where:
French King Restaurant, 129 French King Highway, Route 2, Erving, MA 01344, next to the French King Bridge.

What:
At 4:00 pm hors d'oeuvres of cheese and crackers will be served, cash bar and music by Chase's DJ Service

5:00 pm Buffet meal with Baked Stuffed Chicken and Yankee Pot Roast, Oven Roasted Red Potatoes, vegetable, salad, rolls, coffee and tea

Cost:
$40 per person
$75 per couple

We are asking those not attending the meal but still want to come visit to pay $15 per person or $25 per couple. This helps keep our bank account active for future reunions.

Ok, so you all know the date, October 8, 2016, Columbus Day Weekend. So if any of you are traveling and need a place to stay let us know. I may be able to block off some rooms in advance at a reduced rate at The Inn at Crumpin-Fox, formerly the Fox Inn, right in Bernardston. However since it is a busy weekend I will need to have an approximate number asap so I can reserve them. Let me know!

Here are more details of the reunion. October 8, 2016 at the French King Restaurant and we will have a buffet. The time still needs to be worked confirmed. Cost is going to be $40 per person, $75 for two. We are also trying to arrange a tour of the school at some point that weekend and other possible events you may want to participate.

Since we are going to get together on Saturday for our official reunion I was wondering if people might like to do something less formal on Sunday. Like a play day. Would anyone like to golf? Or have a barbque at someone's house? Or do a fall foliage ride around Franklin County, at least through our beautiful towns of Leyden, Bernardston, Northfield and Warwick? Perhaps a "scavenger hunt" where you are given clues and need to find a location in one of these towns? The ideas could be endless! We want everyone to have a very fun weekend reconnecting with old friends!
