Jinny Lu wins first place in the "World's Ugliest Dog Contest" in Santa Rosa, California. With a $5,000 prize and a trip to New York she will appear on NBC's "Today" show. According to the organization, the contest, which has been taking place for nearly 50 years, is not about mockery, but about celebrating the imperfections that make all dogs special and unique while advocating for adoption. | August 14, 2026 | 📷: |
