We all remember where we were and what we were doing when we first heard the news on September 11th, 2001.

On Thursday, September 10th, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., join us at the library for Remembering September 11th: Stories from Our Community, 25 Years Later. Community members will share their memories and firsthand experiences as we gather for an evening of remembrance and reflection.

All ages are welcome. We especially encourage younger community members to come and hear these stories directly from those who remember that day.

Remember that photo of Ms. Elizabeth standing in front of that huge pile of books waiting to be shelved? Well, look at her now!

Today, she and our most AWESOME volunteer, Sophie Fernandez, opened the LAST BOX!!! 📦🎉

Our staff and volunteers put in so many hours unpacking, moving, sorting, and shelving everything. Thank you to all of them and to our community for being so patient and supportive while we got the library back together.

We can’t believe we finally made it to the last box! 💙📚

Work is continuing inside the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library as we move toward reopening!

We are currently waiting on the completion of carpeting and painting. Once those pieces are finished, our bookshelves can be reinstalled, and the building will begin to look much more like a library again.

We anticipate welcoming patrons back in August and will share a more specific reopening date as the project progresses.

Thank you for your patience, kindness, and continued support as we work toward reopening our doors.

The circulation desk is getting ready for its comeback!

Soon, this spot will be back to doing what it does best: checking out books, handing over holds, making new library cards, and answering quick questions.

We miss the everyday library stuff, and this little corner is a big part of it.
