Birdville ISD 2026-2027 Calendar

The Birdville ISD Board of Trustees approved the instructional calendar for the 2026-2027 school year at a regular meeting on Thursday, February 26.

The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year will be on Wednesday, August 12. The last day of school will be on Thursday, May 27, 2027. The 2026-2027 calendar was developed by the BISD Calendar Committee, which includes teachers, district staff and parents and reflects input from across the district and community.

Birdville ISD has announced that they will also be closed Tuesday, 1/27/26. Per our policy, we will be closed due to inclement weather as well.
