We had a great start in our new Montessori room! The children have enjoyed exploring the new materials and learning the routines of the classroom. They are practicing how to choose their work, ask for lessons, and complete a full work cycle.

It has been wonderful to watch their excitement and curiosity as they settle into the new space. We are so proud of how well they are doing and excited for all the learning ahead!

Today marks a milestone we’ve been working toward for over a year, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with our MELC families!

Our Tiger Room has officially been transformed into MELC’s very first fully prepared Montessori classroom! ✨

This has been a labor of love made possible through months of fundraising, Montessori training, planning, construction, countless hours of preparation, and one very busy weekend putting the finishing touches on this beautiful learning environment.

A very special thank you goes to Miss Amanda, who has embraced this journey with enthusiasm and dedication. As the lead teacher in our first Montessori classroom, she has committed herself to learning all she can about the Montessori philosophy and is currently working toward both her Early Education Associates and her Montessori Certification. Thank you for your patience through a summer full of construction, constant change, and countless projects, and for spending your weekend helping transform this vision into a beautiful reality.

We are incredibly grateful to our generous donors who believed that the children of North Manchester deserve the very best start in their educational journey. Your support has made this dream a reality, and generations of young learners will benefit because of your investment.

Thank you as well to our Board of Directors for seeing the vision, believing in what Montessori education can bring to our community, and supporting this transformation every step of the way.

This classroom represents so much more than new shelves and beautiful materials. It represents our commitment to nurturing curiosity, independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Manchester Early Learning Center has been nominated for **Beacon Credit Union's Project Spotlight**, and we'd be so grateful for your vote!

As a nonprofit, we're committed to providing high-quality early childhood education for North Manchester families. The true cost of quality child care is much higher than what most families can afford, so we work hard to keep tuition as affordable as possible. Grants like this help bridge that gap, allowing us to continue serving local children and supporting working families.

🌸 A huge thank you to the North Manchester First Church of the Brethren for blessing Manchester Early Learning Center once again!

Every year, members of the church generously give their time to serve our center, and this year they surprised us with beautiful flowers out front and sparkling clean windows. Their kindness and willingness to serve make such a difference, and we are so grateful for the care they show our children, families, and staff.

Thank you for investing in our community and for reminding us what a blessing simple acts of service can be. We appreciate you more than you know! 💐🪟❤️
