Spanish translators are needed for parent-teacher conferences. Translators will be paid $20 per hour from 12:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17.

Building Math Understanding! 🚀📚

Our 3rd graders are taking multiplication off the page and bringing it to life! Today, students used hands-on manipulatives to build arrays and make the connection between multiplication and repeated addition.

By building, discussing, and explaining their thinking, students are developing a deeper understanding of why multiplication works—not just memorizing facts. 🧮✨

We are thrilled to announce that Amboy Elementary teachers Felicia Taylor, Jana Woodworth, Olivia Morgan, Sherri Fry, Shelby Barnes, Mary Welch, Melanie Moss, Audrey Moore, Jonathan Slagley, Marcia Scott, Leslie Clement, Julie Weaver, Meredith Shipman, and Jill Tanner (Not Pictured) have been awarded merit pay bonuses in recognition of their exceptional work this past year! 5th grade scholars put their engineering skills to the test as they designed, built, tested, and improved balloon-powered cars! 🚗🎈

Through hands-on problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity, our scholars applied what they’ve been learning about the engineering design process to make their cars go farther and faster. What a fun way to learn, test ideas, and improve designs! 🔧🚀
