As promised, I met with the dignitaries and successfully reached an agreement. The total amount is now set at $3,200, which includes visa processing fees. While I couldn't negotiate down the non-refundable fee of $1,500, I did manage to negotiate the reduction of the spot-holding fee to $1,000 instead of $1,500.
To clarify, the payment you make now is to reserve your spot. You can request a refund at any time.

You'll receive an email from me when the invitation letters are ready, asking for your consent to proceed. If you choose to proceed, I'll send you a contract to sign, and the remaining balance of $2200 will be due, activating the non-refundable $1,500.
