π£π₯ Meet the Coach: Coach Ashley Johnson
It has been an incredible second year coaching FDHS Winter Cheer, and we are now preparing to move into our third year as a program. As their coach, Iβve had the honor of working with a hardworking, dedicated, energetic, and passionate group of athletes who have represented Patriot pride at games, performances, and camp.
With five years of coaching experience and a lifelong love for cheerleading, my goal has always been to help athletes grow in their skills, confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Watching this team develop and seeing everything they have accomplished has been one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.
Beyond the court, I am also an 8th-grade science teacher at Oakbrook Middle School and proudly hold a Doctorate of Education in Leadership. I also earned a Master of Education in Elementary Administration and Supervision and a Bachelorβs degree in Middle Level Education with concentrations in Math and Science. Whether in the classroom or on the court, I strive to encourage students to grow, challenge themselves, and become confident leaders.
Coaching FDHS Winter Cheer has been an unforgettable experience, and I could not be prouder of what we have built together. As we prepare for another year, Iβm excited to see what our returning athletes and future Patriots will bring to the court.
The seasons may change, but the lessons, family, and Patriot spirit remain.
